Third Annual Contest Rewards Customers for Reinvesting in Innovative Speed Queen Equipment
Coin-O-Matic, a commercial laundry equipment distributor serving northern Illinois and northwest Indiana, invites its customers to enter the Speed Queen® third annual contest which will pay off one deserving laundromat owner’s replacement loan through Speed Queen Financial Services (SQFS), up to $100,000.
July 1st through October 31st, Coin-O-Matic customers who reinvest in their laundromat with new, state-of-the-art Speed Queen equipment financed through SQFS will be eligible to enter the 2016 Speed Queen Art of the Journey contest. Once they have financed at least $2,500 in new Speed Queen equipment through SQFS, store owners can enter the contest by uploading an original piece of art – photo collage/montage, video, poem, drawing or painting – that showcases their unique laundry journey to the contest website.
“We are proud to work with Speed Queen laundry manufacturer on this contest to reward our customers for sharing their unique stories and reinvesting in their stores,” said Matt Miller, president, Coin-O-Matic. “Winning this contest can have a significant impact on a store owner’s business. We are encouraging all of our customers who are considering reinvesting or who have already made the decision to do so to share their story and have a chance at winning the $100,000 grand prize.”
The original piece of art should highlight the steps the owner has taken in their journey such as what they did before entering the industry, why they invested in laundry, how they have reinvested in their business, what role they play in the community and how the business has grown since opening.
“Sixty-seven percent of laundromat owners cite high utilities as one of the largest obstacles for their business. Upgrading outdated equipment with new, efficient machines that feature industry-leading technology will help increase customer volume and reduce utilities, with some customers reporting a $6,000 annual savings in utilities,” said Jim Rosenthal, Speed Queen North American sales manager. “Our laundromat owners come from diverse walks of life and each have an interesting and valuable story to tell about their laundry journey. By replacing equipment and sharing their story, they will make their laundromat more profitable and have a chance to win $100,000.”
In addition to awarding one grand prize winner, all qualifying contest entrants will receive a $100 gift certificate that can be used towards new equipment or parts purchases with Coin-O-Matic.
The 2016 Speed Queen Art of the Journey contest marks the third year the iconic brand has set out to reward its customers for seeing the value reinvesting can bring to their stores.
