Leading the Commercial Laundry Industry Since 1921

Coin-O-Matic's parent company, "Harry Miller Appliances", was founded by the late Harry Miller. Harry Miller founded the family business by selling washers and dryers door-to-door from the back of his Ford Model T pickup truck. Through his steadfast work ethic Harry Miller quickly grew the business to a large enough scale that he was able to order the first full truckload of washers and dryers ever to be shipped from the still very young Speed Queen Company. Surviving the Great Depression and World War II by making his own replacement parts and installing coin meters on wringer washers, Harry Miller was one of the first recognized creators of coin operated laundry equipment.

In the late 1950's Harry Miller was joined by his sons Bill and Bob. Bill and the late Bob Miller focused their efforts on the period's exploding coin operated laundry equipment market, thus founding Coin-O-Matic Equipment Inc. Enjoying much success installing washers and dryers throughout Chicagoland, Illinois, Michigan, Wisconsin, and  Indiana, Coin-O-Matic has been building on their successes for decades to become the full service commercial and coin operated laundry equipment distributor they are today.

Today Coin-O-Matic is led by Harry Miller's grandson, Matt Miller. Having grown up in the commercial laundry business, laundry equipment is literally in Matt's blood as is the passion for fulfilling the needs of today's commercial and coin laundry customers.
